I decided to set up this site to warn brides of the pit falls of buying a wedding dress on line. I work in a bridal shop, but personally, have nothing to gain or lose if you purchase your dress on the internet. I get the same wage every week wether i sell 1 dress or 100 dresses.
I regularly have girls come into my shop asking :
if i can "sort the the dress out the dress" they have purchased on-line.
If i can get another dress from them, in time for their wedding, as the dress they have is unwearable
If i will write a professional opinions report about their dress, so they can send their credit card companies/solicitors evidence, in hope of claiming some or all of their money back from the internet trader.
As i said before i have nothing to gain from writing this. But i genuinely feel sorry for the brides that have been scamed. I cant blame them for buying the dress online. id probably fall for it myself, if i didnt know any better.
Ive read countless horror stories on wedding forums but never really seen pictures to back up the stories.So i felt it was about time a website was made that actually showed photos of the fake dresses.
With some advice on the things these con artists do, to make you believe that you are getting a genuine dress. How to get your money back.
